Shuvra Prokash Biswas received the B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) from Rajshahi University of  Engineering and Technology (RUET), Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2017. He has also received his M.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from RUET in 2021.  From 21 October 2018 to 15 February 2019, he was a Lecturer in the department of EEE at North Bengal International University.  From 16 February 2019 to 30 December 2021 he was a lecturer in the department of ETE at RUET. He is now working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of ETE, RUET since 01 December 2021. He has been working in the area of advanced power electronics  converter for distributed power systems and industrial  drives for the last four years. He has published  a number of research papers and posters in this  field. His research interests include power electronics, electrical machines  and drives, control systems, renewable energy systems, real-time hardwarein- the-loop (HIL) simulations, and smart micro-grids.  Mr. Biswas was a recipient of one ETE Association Award  (Student of the Year Award) from RUET for his outstanding academic performance in the 1st  year examinations while pursuing B.Sc. engineering degree. Mr. Biswas received two Best Paper Awards for two different research papers from 2019 3rd International Conference on Electrical, Computer, and Telecommunication Engineering (ICECTE 2019) and 2020 IEEE International Conference on Applied Superconductivity and Electromagnetic Devices (ASEMD 2020), China. Mr. Biswas also received one Best Poster Award for another outstanding research paper from ASEMD 2020, China. Recently, Mr. Biswas has received another Best Paper Award from IEEE IAS GUCON 2021, Malaysia

Mr. Biswas is serving as a Reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, IEEE System Journal, and IEEE Access journals.
