Professor

Dr. Md. Al Mehedi Hasan is now working as a Postdoctoral Researcher  in the School of Computer Science and Engineering,The University of Aizu, Japan since November, 2020. He became a Lecturer, an Assistant  Professor, an Associate Professor and Professor inthe Department of Computer Science & Engineering in Rajshahi University  of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Rajshahi, Bangladesh in the year  of 2007, 2010, 2018 and 2019 respectively. He received B.Sc. and  M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering in the  Department of Computer Science & Engineering  from the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi,  Bangladesh in 2005 and 2007 respectively. He  also completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science &  Engineering in of the Department of Computer  Science & Engineering from the University of Rajshahi  in 2017.  

His research interests include  Bioinformatics, Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, Medical Image  and Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Data Mining,  Big Data Analysis, Probabilistic and statistical inference, Operating System,  Computer Network and Security. He has (co-)authored more than 80 publications  published in widely cited journals and conferences.
